Robbery at gunpoint at Robinson Park

On Monday, November 5th at approximately 6:30 pm, a Hilltop resident was robbed at gunpoint by two young adult males while walking his dog around the perimeter of Robinson Park.

Description: Two black males, ages 18-22,  5’11″  175 lbs. and  6’2″ 185 lbs.

If you have any information, please call the non-emergency police number at 720-913-2000. If you see suspicious activity or a crime in process, call 911.

Recycle You Leaves at Cranmer Park. Please only do so on designated dates and times. DO NOT drop leaves on week days.

Saturdays, November 3, 10, 17  from 11 am to 3 pm

Sundays, November 4, 11, 18  from 11- 3

Leaves must be in tied/closed bags. Paper bags are preferred and will be composted with leaves.

Annual Meeting and Elections

Committee reports will be made and Directors will be elected to serve until 2015. Nominations for Directors may be sent to Andrea Dikeou, 300 Bellaire Street, Denver, CO 80220. Nominations must be received at least 5 days prior to the meeting.

Councilwoman Mary Beth Susman and Officer Tony Burkhardt will speak. There will also be an updates about the Sundial restoration, Trader Joe’s at 9th & Colorado.

The Annual Hilltop Halloween Parade

Meet at Cranmer Park by the Sundial and parade over to Robinson Park with your neighbors and friends for pizza, games and goodies. Westbound 6th Avenue closures

The westbound lanes of 6th Avenue between Monaco and Quebec will be closed between September 26th and October 19 for the installation of a new storm water sewer pipe. Please follow posted detour signs for alternate routes.

There will be a Colorado Boulevard Healthcare District (CBHD) meeting on Thursday, September 6th at Hill Middle School starting at 4 pm.
The discussion will be limited to the traffic and public funding issues related to the proposed project. City personnel, traffic engineers as well as DURA representatives will be present.

 Christ Church United Methodist is located at 690 Colorado Boulevard on the SE corner of 7th & Colorado Boulevard. The parking lot is on the east side of the building but car pooling and walking to location is encouraged. The meeting will be held in the main sanctuary.
