Join us for our 4th Annual Community Picnic & Concert at Cranmer Park on Friday, July 2nd from 6:00pm until the last sparkle of the Glendale Fireworks, visible from our vantage point at the park. Featuring a concert of patriotic and popular music performed by The Denver Municipal Band, this relaxing and fun family event is co-hosted by your Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association and our District 5 City Councilwoman Amanda Sawyer’s office.

We’ll have a variety of sweet and savory food trucks and you are welcome to bring your own picnic baskets and beverages, along with lawn chairs, blankets and games to play while we wait for the Glendale Fireworks, to begin when it becomes dark enough, typically around 9 pm.

Be sure to arrive early – around 6:30pm – to meet the Denver Fire Department’s Fire Crew and see their Fire Engine up close – kids love this!

We ask that everyone be our Zero Heros and pack out what you bring to the event to help reduce the waste at our beautiful neighborhood park and save our volunteers from having to pick up things that are left behind.  See these important tips to make your visit more enjoyable!
