Calling all hungry ghosts, goblins, dinosaurs and unicorns!
The Halloween Parade Committee, including Lisa Glauser, Sheila Pitto, Anjali Nanda, Kelly Armento and Cristina Schmidt, is working hard to bring us another great event for the whole family on Sunday, October 31st!
We meet at the Sundial Plaza and then parade down 2nd Avenue to Robinson Park (we’ve just learned the construction of the new playground project will be completed prior to Oct 31 – Yay!) At the Park, we’ll have games for the costumed kiddos and plenty of pizza for parents/family who have joined them.
Every year we collect and deliver canned goods for donation to an organization addressing food scarcity in our community. Please bring a can or two to share with those less fortunate. We are so GRATEFUL to have such GREAT NEIGHBORS!
This annual family event is sponsored by your Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association and District 5 Denver City Council Member Amanda Sawyer, with these generous neighborhood sponsors:
Kelly Armento/PorchLight Real Estate Group
We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with the preparations for the event and help on the day of the event – handing out pizza slices, supervising the games and helping to make everyone welcome. Join us, it is a fun event and a great way to meet your neighbors! For more information about getting involved in the 2021 Halloween Parade, please email your neighbor and co-organizer Lisa Glauser here.
