What if “Age” is really short for “Agent of Change?” Boomers Leading Change believe that experience creates impact and they offer volunteers meaningful work where they may make a difference in people’s lives. Boomers Leading Change is currently accepting applications for AmeriCorps Encore service for people age 55 and older.   The AmeriCorps Encore program trains people in effective ways to help our metro Denver neighbors live fuller lives including helping older adults age in place, providing food security to the hungry, and overcoming barriers so people in need have better access to social and medical services.  Applicant interviews for AmeriCorps Encore volunteer positions start on June 19 and will continue through the summer.  Visit BoomersLeadingChange.org for more information.
