You’re invited to join At-Large Councilwoman Robin Kniech and Denver’s Community Planning and Development at a public meeting to discuss proposed updates to Denver’s zoning and building codes regarding tiny home villages. Tiny homes are one novel solution to the affordable housing crisis that has been effective in other cities around the country. The proposed zoning and building code changes would create an easier pathway to build tiny home villages in Denver. There will be a presentation on the proposed changes from the councilwoman and city staff, followed by community Q&A. A representative of Denver’s current village, the Colorado Village Collaborative, will also be present to answer questions about Denver’s first pilot village. Light refreshments will be provided. Please plan time for an urban parking environment.
When: Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church (2015 Glenarm Pl, Denver, CO 80205)
