UPDATE: The application by Park Burger for a wine and beer license at 211 S. Holly Street was approved.

Park Burger’s initial application for a Hotel and Restaurant License (full liquor license) was denied by the Department of Excise and Licenses.  Park Burger has made the decision to apply for a different type of license that limits liquor sales to wine and beer.

 The Good Neighbor Agreement that was negotiated during the initial application process is being revised by the Park Burger attorney for execution prior to the hearing.  It will include all of the provisions we initially negotiated along with three new requirements:

  1. A fence between the back of the property (west side) of the property and the alley;
  2. A restriction on outdoor music during East Denver Orthodox Synagogue (EDOS) religious services;
  3. A process for review of any subsequent application for a full liquor license.
