Notice of Proposed Amendment to Rules and Regulations – Dedicated Funding for Affordable Housing, Rule V
Denver’s Office of Economic Development and Department of Community Planning and Development will hold a joint public hearing on Thursday, August 29, 2019, between 11:30am and 12:30pm in the Auditorium at the Denver Post Building, located at 101 West Colfax, Denver, Colorado, 80202. The purpose of this public hearing is for interested parties to comment on proposed amendments to the rules and regulations pertaining to implementation of Article V, Chapter 27, of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (Dedicated Funding for Affordable Housing). The amendment addresses terms of affordability for build alternative units, applicability of any right of first refusal and other clarifying matters. These rules are being proposed under the authority of Denver Revised Municipal Code Section 12-17, and Article V, Chapter 27 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code.
All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing and present oral and written comments. Interested parties may also submit comment on the proposed rules and regulations through email to the following email address: Affordablehousing@denvergov.org. The public is not required to provide advanced notice of their intent to participate in the hearing.
