Following last week’s decision by the Planning Board to recommend approval of the proposed update to Denver’s group living rules, the project team will continue community outreach with six sessions of online office hours starting in September (9/3, 9/10 and 9/17). These sessions will offer participants an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts in a small-group setting.

On September 1, the Land, Use, Transportation and Infrastructure (LUTI) Committee of City Council met to hearing the briefing on the proposal as is standard in the rezoning process. City Council is the final part of process. At that meeting several Council Members expressed concern and displeasure about the proposal and its community outreach.
