Kelly ArmentoVice PresidentKelly’s best decision was moving to Hilltop in 2013 which she will proudly share is the best neighborhood in the city. She is currently serving as Vice President on the Association and co-chair of the Events Committee, organizing events like movie night and the Halloween parade. During her free time, she likes to spend time outdoors with her family running, biking and gardening. She has raced in triathlons for 10 years and completed 5 Ironmans and 20 Half-Ironmans.
Sandi BarenbaumDirector through 2025Sandi moved back to Hilltop in 2005 and joined the board as she strongly believes in the importance of neighborhood advocacy. In the past, she served as the President of a Civic Association in northern Virginia where they had to face off with the county park system and school board to save 12 houses from a surprise demolition plan and find a reasonable alternative. She is currently a part of the Zoning and Nominations committees.
Bill BonebrakeDirector through 2025Bill and his wife love Hilltop, the parks and accessibility to Denver’s many attractions, so much so, he moved back to Hilltop in 2020 and purchased the house that was across the street from where he lived previously. He has been a member since the mid 70’s and was the President at one time. He has been involved with real estate issues for the Association throughout the years monitoring numerous surrounding developments that have impacted Hilltop, especially traffic. Larry is also involved in the Cherry Creek Steering Committee and was a founding member of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce.
Marisa EchanizDirector through 2025Marisa has lived in Hilltop since 2019. Hilltop has been a wonderful home for her and her family, so she is giving back by being on the board of the Association and focusing on the safety of the neighborhood. She enjoys US History and recently enjoyed a book about Hilltop to learn more about the marvelous neighborhood.
Tomas HartDirector through 2022Tom became interested in joining the board when there was a proposal to re-zone 20-50 S Colorado Blvd that would have allowed over a hundred units. From his charge in fighting that effort, he was invited to join the board and chair the Zoning Committee. He has been living in Hilltop since 1999 and is also on the boards of Historic Denver and Docomomo Colorado.
Ann HofmeisterDirector through 2025Ann joined the board because she very much cares about where her and her husband raise their children. He also serves on the board of Vivent Health and Curious Theatre.

Mary is an architect and has practiced in Denver for 30 years specializing in healthcare and criminal justice projects. One of her favorite projects to date has been the Lindsay Flanigan Courthouse at the Denver Justice Center.

She is Latina and wants to represent her culture and bring different perspectives to the Board. During her free time, she likes to hang out at the sundial to see how many people she can get to say hello. If they don’t say hello, she gives them a card that says, “Today is say hello to a Neighbor Day!”. She is currently serving on the Events Committee.

She’s lived in Hilltop since 1997 and her 1936 Tudor presents her with numerous opportunities for remodeling. So when she is not deep in plaster dust, she enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and connecting with her community through her career in Real Estate.

As a realtor specializing in Hilltop, he enjoys touring homes for sale in the beautiful neighborhood. He also enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding in his free time.
Larry moved to Hilltop with his family in 1971 and joined the Association a few years later. He has been a member since the mid 70’s and was the President at one time. He has been involved with real estate issues for the Association throughout the years monitoring numerous surrounding developments that have impacted Hilltop, especially traffic. Larry is also involved in the Cherry Creek Steering Committee and was a founding member of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce.
Marisa has lived in Hilltop since 2019. Hilltop has been a wonderful home for her and her family, so she is giving back by being on the board of the Association and focusing on the safety of the neighborhood. She enjoys US History and recently enjoyed a book about Hilltop to learn more about the marvelous neighborhood.
Tom became interested in joining the board when there was a proposal to re-zone 20-50 S Colorado Blvd that would have allowed over a hundred units. From his charge in fighting that effort, he was invited to join the board and chair the Zoning Committee. He has been living in Hilltop since 1999 and is also on the boards of Historic Denver and Docomomo Colorado.
Ann joined the board because she very much cares about where her and her husband raise their children. She loves living in Hilltop and wants to give back to the community. She moved to Hilltop in 2019 and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out, baking and traveling.
Mike has been in Hilltop since 2004 and served as the Association’s President in 2022. He believes that getting involved and getting to know our neighbors is key to making our neighborhood better which is why he joined the board. Mike is a Colorado native and a graduate of DU. He also serves on the board of Vivent Health and Curious Theatre.
Graham moved to Hilltop with his husband in 2020. His hobbies include political and civic engagement which is one of the reasons he joined the board. He also wants to keep Hilltop a special place that draws in community so joined the Membership Committee to welcome in new members. When he is not selling homes as a realtor, you will find him skiing or out walking his two dogs, or perhaps up in the air as he is also a general aviation pilot.
Carol serves as the Secretary of the board and has lived in Hilltop since 2020. Building community is a strong value of hers, so she immediately got involved in the association to not only get to know her neighbors and neighborhood, but to build opportunities for people to connect and be proud to live in Hilltop.
Mary is on the board because she is in the appointed position to represent Hilltop on the Cherry Creek Steering Committee. She serves on the Zoning Committee and enjoys being involved with the neighborhood in a meaningful way. Mary is an architect and has practiced in Denver for 30 years specializing in healthcare and criminal justice projects. One of her favorite projects to date has been the Lindsay Flanigan Courthouse at the Denver Justice Center.
Josie has lived in Hilltop since 2008 and wanted to bring more diversity to the Hilltop Board. She is Latina and wants to represent her culture and bring different perspectives to the Board. During her free time, she likes to hang out at the sundial to see how many people she can get to say hello. If they don’t say hello, she gives them a card that says, “Today is say hello to a Neighbor Day!”. She is currently serving on the Events Committee.
Steven is currently the President of the Association. He loves to travel and is a Varsity High School Football official. He joined the board to work to make the community better as he enjoys the perks of the neighborhood like the beautiful parks and biking around the neighborhood with is wife and daughter.
Clay has young kids at home so wanted to become more involved with the local neighborhood and be a part of solving the issues that the neighborhood might face. He enjoys many of the classic Colorado activities having lived here since 2016 including skiing, rock climbing and biking.
Ann wanted to get more involved in the community which led her to joining the board and chairing the Membership Committee for many years. She’s lived in Hilltop since 1997 and her 1936 Tudor presents her with numerous opportunities for remodeling. So when she is not deep in plaster dust, she enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and connecting with her community through her career in Real Estate.
Andy joined the board to help keep Hilltop a great neighborhood for families. He chairs the Crime and Safety Committee and when he is not thinking about ways to keep Hilltop safe, he enjoys flyfishing and gardening. One fun fact about Andy is that he is a former Jeopardy champion.
