We all have unused paint taking up space in our closets, garages or basements, right?  Denver residents and businesses are invited to drop off unused, unwanted paint at a one-day paint recycling event on Saturday, June 23 from 8 a.m to 3 p.m. at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The event will accept unwanted cans of house paint, stains, primers, sealers, and clear top coatings (varnish and shellac).

PaintCare Colorado – the non-profit stewardship organization that runs paint recycling programs across Colorado – is hosting the event to make it even easier for individuals and businesses in Denver and surrounding areas to easily recycle their unused, unwanted paint. PaintCare also offers more than 150 year-round drop-off sites located in hardware stores, reuse stores and at household hazardous waste facilities across the state.
