Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO) enable family members and law enforcement to obtain protection orders to temporarily remove firearms from and prevent firearms access by persons who are dangerous to themselves and others. Colorado’s ERPO law takes effect January 1, 2020. Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser will discuss implementation of the new law at a Forum on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 7:30pm – 8:30pm at Temple Emanuel, 51 Grape Street (enter through Grape Street parking lot).
