INC PARC Meeting
Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation’s Park and Recreation Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month now via Zoom. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome.
This meeting will have two speakers: Both Congress Park residents
Jacqueline Altreuter Project Lead for DMNS Nearby Nature in City Park https://www.dmns.org/natureplay
This project will restore portions of the historic DeBoer Waterway as a sustainable creek bed with water that runs the course of natural play experiences, based on Colorado’s eight ecosystems. The community’s voice is guiding project design . Prior community feedback has led to design concepts that include multi-sensory, self-directed, inclusive, multigenerational, multi-seasonal play, along with opportunities for learning, respite and engagement through authentic, natural, playful experiences for people of all ages and abilities.
Brad Cameron Member of INC PARC Park Designation Team will give a report on the designations that have occurred.
