Things to Know

Family Movie Night –  It’s a Wrap!  The 3rd film of our Family Movie Night series was another fun night at Robinson Park – check out a few photos from the event and a “review” of the season here

Members of the Hilltop Neighborhood Association attended the recent public meeting for the Cherry Creek West development and are following the proposal and the process.  Also in development news, we have a brief update in the VA Hospital property sale to share.

This past Tuesday, Aug 30, a virtual Community meeting was held to review the recommendations of the 6th Ave Traffic Calming Study and a recording of the meeting is available here.

DPD Chief Paul Pazen will discuss Colorado Crime trends as they relate to our district on Tuesday, Sept 6th. RSVP & details here.

Things to Do

Taste of Colorado – Sept 3 – 5 in Civic Center Park.  End of summer celebration for all ages with music, a large local arts & crafts marketplace and a wide variety of tasty food!

Denver Post predicts a spectacular leaf peeping season! Make plans now – peak peeping is mid-September in the mountains!

JCC’s JAAMM Festival 2022 opens on Sept 15 with a concert and has a diverse line up of talented speakers, artists, authors, comedians and musicians over the course of the full season.

Mamma Mia! – Enjoy Outdoor Movie Night and a Sing-Along at 9+CO’s Hale Park on Saturday, Sept 17 while supporting a good cause: proceeds from the popcorn and bottled water sales will benefit Hill Campus of the Arts & Sciences.  Click here for details, make reservations and order your family picnic boxes from Blanco or Culinary Dropout.

D5 City Council Parks Clean Up on Saturday, Oct 2 is looking for a few more neighbors to help tidy up our beautiful parks. This is a great way to enjoy a brisk morning walk in the park while doing good works and meeting new friends!
