Annual Membership & Elections for Board of Directors Meeting – Please join us for the next meeting of the Cranmer Park / Hilltop Civic Association on Nov 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Parks and Recreation:
Denver Film Fest – The 44th Annual Denver Film Festival started Nov. 3rd and runs through Nov. 14th this year. The 10 theatres in our local AMC at 9+CO will be featuring national, indie, and international films.
Composting Leaves this Fall – Check out the link for locations and days/times for Denver’s LeafDrop Program, our free program that allows residents to sustainably donate their leaves and old pumpkins to be composted rather than end up in a landfill.
New Businesses:
New Restaurant Openings at 9+CO – Excited to report two new restaurants opened on Nov. 3rd in the neighborhood at 9+CO: Culinary Dropout and Blanco Tacos & Tequila. Early buzz is good and we are thrilled to add these new restaurants to a growing list of places we can walk or ride a bike to.
Zoning/Development:
VA Property Update – The Veterans Administration is placing a portion of their property at 9th and Clermont up for sale. Our RNO is adjacent to the land along with two other neighboring RNOs, the Bellevue-Hale Neighborhood Association and the Mayfair Neighborhood Association. These three RNOs were asked to write a letter of support and we submitted this attached Letter re: Rose Medical.
