May 2020 Neighborhood News & Events

Solidarity Artwork in Hilltop at the Fogarty Home on Bellaire

To Our Neighborhood –

We hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and safe.  We continue to follow directives from the City of Denver and have canceled all in person meetings and events of the Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association until further notice.
Here are some further updates:
We anticipate having our next quarterly meeting on July 21, 2020.  This meeting is obviously contingent on factors and regulations outside of our control, but we are hopeful.
Become a Board Member.  We have formed a nominating committee and over the summer hope to schedule interviews with potential board members – following good social distance guidelines!  Our mission is to seek out qualified candidates with varied skills to represent the diverse interests of the neighborhood.  If you are interested, please send an email to i[email protected].
Regular communication continues from our association in the forms of our monthly E-Newsletters, emails, and other notices. Please also check our website regularly for up-to-date neighborhood information.
Summer Events are under evaluation currently.  These include our July Community Picnic at Cranmer Park and the Hilltop Summer Movie Nights series.  We are hopeful to continue with them in some form, but it is too early to know anything definitive.  We will keep you informed.

Sincerely,
Jeff Cuneo
President

May Events
Because public gatherings have been canceled during the COVID 19 crisis, we have had to postpone Association meetings and are consulting with the city’s Office of Special Events to determine whether our own upcoming events will continue.  Fingers crossed everyone!  We love bringing these special events to our community and hope we are able to continue in the near future.

If you have a photo or a relevant and appropriate neighborhood event and/or news article you would like to share, please email [email protected] and we will let you know if we are able to include it a future Hilltop e-newsletter.
