This will keep you busy and most of us know, the best way to feel better is to help someone else.  Neighbor Michele McKittrick needs a few Pen Pals and helpers who sew:
Suncrest Hospice of Colorado is looking for help! We are providing support for 400+ patients in the Greater Denver Area in new and creative ways. We have started a Pen Pal Program to ensure folks on our service still feel connected and engaged. We are also looking for help making PPE (personal protective equipment) for our nurses and CNAs. If you know how to sew a simple pattern and/or have sheets you could donate, please let me know.  Please email me at [email protected].

Are you working out and exercising from home during the stay at home order? Are you getting bored of walking the same routes within Hilltop? Do you want to avoid the COVID-19 (kinda like the freshman 20 when you enter college)?   Neighbor Jonathan Burton has some suggestions for maintaining your health (and sanity maybe?)

With everyone cooped up at home, now is a good time for doing Maria Kondo and other small projects around the house. Is there some little thing around the house that you’ve been putting off? I am a perfectionist when it comes to painting and it’s hard to find someone that quite stacks up other than my own husband who is meticulous when it comes to preparation. So the front door of our home, which takes a beating from the sun and had several cracks and the paint was woefully faded, has been stripped, filled, sanded and painted. Even the hardware has a fresh new shiny look. He even took the 1936 lock apart and oiled it- the key works better than the day we moved in 23 years ago! Next is my office and those pesky closets!

For those who aren’t in the mood to take on a project, it’s a great time for online learning. This could be one of those transformative moments when necessity breeds more innovation. From Art and Interior Design to Science and Tech, the options are endless.
Now, when it comes to working from home with kids in the house, it can be especially challenging. Here are some tips and tricks: https://www.thebalancecareers.com/work-at-home-ground-rules-to-boost-your-productivity-4140219
And, maybe at the end of the day, a Quarantini is the way to celebrate making it through the day!
