The Denver Jewish Film Festival runs from February 6 – 18 at the JCC Mizel Arts and Culture Center. Presented by the Sturm Family Foundation, the Festival is now in its 23rd year of presenting the best and brightest cinematic moments from newly-released Israeli and Jewish cinema. Also at the JCC, identical twin actors and comedic duo, The Sklar Brothers, will spend the evening at the Elaine Wolf Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 23 speaking about why – especially in times of rising anti-Semitism – it is so important to carry on, as Jews, a tradition of comedy and humor. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The performance begins at 8 p.m.
Randy and Jason are also writers, directors and actors and have appeared in a variety of shows from Entourage to Curb Your Enthusiasm. They are most well known for their show, Cheap Seats, a cult hit that appeared on ESPN Classic for 77 episodes.
The show is presented by the Denver Jewish Chamber of Commerce and the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center.
