Civic Center Park, our city’s most significant gathering place for art, ideas, protests and rallies is a landmark at a landmark moment: it’s 100 year anniversary. The City and the Civic Center Conservancy have partnered to revitalize and guide the park’s evolution to ensure it meets the needs of Denver residents for the Next 100 years.
First public workshop was held on February 11, 2021 and invited residents to learn about the history of the park, current conditions and to share feedback about its future. Watch the recording of the 1st public workshop here.
On June 10, in the second public workshop in which community members saw different options for improvements for Civic Center park and voted on their favorite amenities for the park. Watch the recording of the 2nd public workshop here.
From these public meetings, survey and focus groups, The Civic Center Next 100 Project Team learned about the types of experiences the public would like within Civic Center and prepared design concepts for the 4 project areas based on this feedback — please take the survey and provide your input before July 5, 2021:
