The Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association announced that it will contribute $5,000 toward the $50,000 goal for the enhanced renovation of the play structures and associated areas at Robinson Park (3rd St. and Fairfax St.). In conjunction with The Park People, interested neighbors of the park are raising money to provide additional improvements above what have been designed and budgeted by the City of Denver’s Parks and Recreation Department.

Contributions from neighbors and other Hilltop residents should be directed to The Park People/Robinson Park Playground.

The goal of the CP/HCA is to provide funding benefiting the neighborhood and catalyzing additional contributions and community involvement by Hilltop residents. A similar model was used successfully by the Association, Hilltop neighbors, The Park People and the City of Denver to accomplish the 2017-2018 reconstruction of the Sundial Plaza at Cranmer Park.

The Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association is a Registered Neighborhood Organization within the City of Denver. In addition to encouraging the use and upkeep of Hilltop’s public spaces, the Association also sponsors and organizes neighborhood activities (Independence Day fireworks picnic at Cranmer Park, summer movie nights at Robinson Park, Halloween kids’ parade, etc.) as well as advocating for the Hilltop neighborhood and residents on issues of real estate development, traffic, and crime and safety. Membership in the Association is voluntary and open to all residents of Hilltop.  Become a member or check on your membership status here.
