Cranmer Park Community Picnic
We are looking forward to our July 2nd Cranmer Park Community Picnic hosted by City Council District 5 and your Cranmer Park/Hilltop Civic Association and sponsored this year by our new neighbors at 9+CO. Very glad to have them on board and they are excited to be involved with our neighborhood picnic!
The Sundial Plaza restoration is complete, the full orchestra of the Denver Municipal Band will perform patriotic tunes, jazz and popular music and we expect another great crowd enjoying live music, games and great food from our invited food truck vendors listed below. And then, once the sun sets, we’ll watch the Glendale Fireworks from our “Hilltop” vantage point in Cranmer Park.
Our event is designed to be zero-impact and leave no trace in our neighborhood park but we need your help! We are encouraging neighbors to walk or bike to the party. When packing your picnic please choose reusable or compostable materials whenever possible and pack out what you pack in. Your Civic Association is proud to be partnering again with both Eco-Cycle and Graland to implement Zero Waste at our Cranmer Park Community Picnic. Last year we successfully diverted 62% of waste from landfills. Here’s how can you help achieve an even higher diversion rate at this year’s picnic!
We have some great food trucks lined up, including these neighborhood favorites:
