Major Highlights from the December 5 Community Meeting with Continuum Partners:
The Research Bridge will be taken down, there is a proposed 17-story condominium on Block 9 (see handout posted here), and the public art is already in progress!
Frank Cannon, representing Continuum Development, started the meeting with a brief summary of the development:
He mentioned the property was bought by Continuum in 2015. A significant amount of time demolishing buildings and installing various infrastructure items followed. 2018 has been a big year for the project. Theo, a rental apartment complex with 275 units, opened in April. This is located in Block 7 at 11th and Colorado, next to the existing parking structure. Hale Park, directly across the street from Theo, opened with a community party with 450 attendees in September and they have started construction on six other buildings.
